Todd Gentzler, a Wyoming native, competed in track and field at Chadron State College in Nebraska, where he qualified for nationals four times and placed in the top 10 in middle-distance events. He went on to graduate school at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, earning his degree in 1994.
Board Certified in Orthopedics, Todd spent several years as a first assistant to an orthopedic surgeon before becoming a partner in a Wyoming-based physical therapy group, where he co-owned 18 clinics. For 18 years, he operated his own outpatient physical therapy clinic in Gillette, Wyoming, before meeting the love of his life and moving to Washington in 2018. In April 2021, he became a co-owner with Jason and Erin.
A lifelong competitor, Todd was part of the first-ever four-person mixed bicycle team to win the Race Across America in 2017. He remains active today, enjoying outdoor adventures with his wife, Denise, who is also a physical therapist at the company’s Tumwater location. Together, they love paddleboarding, running, playing competitive tennis, and taking on the Seattle to Portland bike ride on a tandem bicycle. Todd also enjoys traveling with Denise and spending time with her two adult children. However, one of his greatest sources of relaxation and renewal comes from time spent on his ranch in Northeastern Wyoming. “I completely recharge my batteries there,” he says.
As healthcare continues to evolve, Todd remains committed to staying at the forefront of his field. In 2024, he was able to Renew and Achieve his Board Certification in Orthopedics, and in March 2025, he earned his certification for Advanced Competency in Dry Needling through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. His expertise also includes Maitland mobilization and manipulative rehab, Mulligan Mobilization with Movement for both the upper and lower quarters, Kinesiotaping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
For Todd, being a physical therapist is both a blessing and an honor. He finds joy in helping people reach their untapped potential through encouragement, education, and engagement. He believes in meeting each person where they are on their journey, understanding that everyone’s path is unique and sometimes requires adaptation to reach their goals.
Romans 10:9 – “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
