As the founder of Centralia Physical Therapy, Dr. Buono combines his expertise in physical therapy with a deep commitment to personalized care. Patients appreciate his specialized training in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and injury prevention, knowing they’re receiving evidence-based treatment tailored to their specific needs.
Jason’s approach is rooted in both compassion and clinical excellence. After earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University, he developed extensive experience in various therapeutic techniques including a Post-Doctoral certification in Mulligan Mobilization with Movement techniques, corrective exercise prescription, manual therapy interventions including soft tissue mobilization, cupping, taping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. His diverse background allows him to create comprehensive treatment plans that address not just symptoms, but the underlying causes of pain and mobility issues.
Patients often comment on Jason’s attentive listening and how he takes time to understand their goals, whether returning to a beloved sport, playing with grandchildren without pain, or simply performing daily activities comfortably. His experience as a former college athlete gives him unique insight into both athletic injuries and the determination needed during recovery.
Since opening Centralia Physical Therapy in 2012 with his wife Erin (also a Doctor of Physical Therapy), Jason has remained dedicated to creating a healing environment where patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. He leads a collaborative team committed to providing exceptional care to the Thurston, Lewis, and Cowlitz communities.
When not treating patients, Dr. Jason mentors physical therapy students, ensuring the next generation of therapists maintains the highest standards of care that his patients have come to expect.
